# When the Scale Stalls, Check the Log Before You Slash Another 500

> A smaller body burns less. Oil and weekend plates hide. Option 1 is Khatwa: photograph meals, ask what is left. The coach does not diagnose a metabolic plateau.

The problem is a number that used to move. You are smaller now, so the same intake is closer to maintenance. Oil, tahini, and a Friday plate you skipped in the diary also look like a plateau. Option 1 is Khatwa. Photograph the meals you already eat for a week. Add the tablespoon. Ask the coach what is left. Then cut 100 to 200, or walk more, if the weekly average is flat. We do not run unerring pattern detection. We do not inject a calculated extra set to boost TDEE. The coach has leftover calories, not a metabolic lab.

## A stall checklist that stays honest

Weigh-ins bounce with salt and gut content. Use a weekly average. If the log is incomplete, finish it before you starve the next day.
